Website content is provided to describe HandyAce services and help customers request an estimate. It is not a substitute for an on-site assessment, licensed-trade advice, emergency service, or a final written scope.

Estimates & scope

An estimate is based on the information available at the time, including photos, measurements, access details and the described condition. The final scope and price may need to change if site conditions differ from what was provided. Any material scope change should be discussed before additional work proceeds.

Licensed or permitted work

Some work in New York City requires an appropriately licensed trade, contractor, filing or permit. HandyAce will not treat work that legally requires a licensed trade or permit as unrestricted general handyman work. If a requested item falls outside the available service scope, the customer may need to engage the appropriate licensed professional.

Scheduling

Requested dates and times are not guaranteed until they are confirmed. Building access rules, elevator reservations, management requirements and customer-provided access can affect scheduling.

Materials & property conditions

Unless specifically included in the agreed scope, materials, specialty finishes and hidden-condition repairs are separate. Customers should disclose known leaks, moisture, lead concerns, unsafe conditions, building restrictions or other information that could affect the work.

Payment

Payment timing, accepted methods and any deposit requirements are stated in the estimate, invoice or other written job confirmation applicable to that project.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact HandyAce as soon as possible. Any cancellation or access-related charge, if applicable, should be disclosed with the confirmed booking.

Workmanship concerns

If you believe the agreed work has an issue, contact HandyAce promptly with photos and a description so the concern can be reviewed against the agreed scope.

Emergency situations

Do not rely on the website form for active fire, electrical, gas, flooding, structural or other emergency hazards. Contact the appropriate emergency service, building management or licensed professional.
